President Lazarus Chakwera has appointed Joseph Bongololo Gondwe as Paramount Chief Chikulamayembe.
Chakwera approved Bongololo’s appointment after a strenuous legal battle between Bongololo and Mtima Gondwe who was initially installed Paramount Chief Chikulamayembe.
A letter relaying Chakwera’s approval of Bongololo as Paramount Chief Chikulamayembe to the royal family advises the family to start preparations for the Paramount Chief’s installation ceremony.
