The level of incompetence being displayed by Anti-Corruption Bureau director, Martha Chizuma, on all fronts refuses to die with fresh revelations that files on investigations into Saulos Chilima 44 cars which he bought for his UTM party have gone missing.
This raises eyebrows on the leadership competence of Chuzima who by virtue of being director is supposed to manage all systems including those to do with security of documents.
Private citizen, Gosten Chinseu months ago lodged a complaint at ACB asking for an investigation into the vehicles that were bought in the name of one Khwesi Msusa who is a close confidant of Chilima.
The bureau said it had found merit in the request and launched a full investigation in the matter.
However, this recent development means the case will stall as the bureau is busy seeking another statement from Chinseu.
Chinseu, however, has expressed displeasure at going back to ACB for another statement saying the first one was adequate and he is not responsible for the mess around the missing files.
Chizuma’s competence continues to be questioned left, right and centre by Malawians who initially thought she was up to the task when she was appointed in April 2021.
