    KASEYE PTA DONATES LEARNING MATERIALS

    Parents and Teachers Association (PTA) says they are committed to boost quality education at St Thereza Kaseye Girls Secondary school which falls under Karonga Diocese in Chitipa District.

    This was said recently at a ceremony where members of the association donated learning materials to the school.

    The association supported the school with teaching and learning materials which included; one science equipment known as distilled machine, textbooks for all subjects, global universe map, personal protective equipment for Covid-19 prevention.

    They also awarded teachers and support staff as a token of appreciation.

    The whole donation and awards were worth K2.7 million.

    Vice Chairperson for PTA Innocent Phiri said they are supporting the school with the aim of encouraging the students to perform well during JCE and MSCE examination.”

    “The role of the PTA is to support the school to make sure that our students do well academically. In doing so we are increasing the quality of education at Kaseye and the nation as a whole” Phiri said.

    In her remarks, Kaseye Girls Secondary Headmistress Sister Clementina Phiri commended PTA for coming in and support the school with teaching and learning materials.

    “We thank PTA for the materials they have brought because for students to learn well and teachers to teach well they need such materials,” Phiri said.

    Phiri added that by asking and encouraging her fellow teachers to be committed so that their ambition of assisting students to pass with flying colors during examination results should be achieved.
